Stewart Milne Group commended at NextGeneration innovation awards 2022 for thier contributions towards the AIMCH project.
NextGeneration is the sustainability benchmarking system for UK homebuilders. NextGeneration enables homebuilders, government, registered providers, investors, employees, and the public to understand the sustainability of benchmarked homebuilders’ operations and the new homes they build. It also sets out what good practice looks like and drives change in the industry, with the criteria of the benchmarks being publicly available. They assess homebuilders, not on whether they are meeting minimum standards and mandatory disclosures, but going beyond these requirements.
Their annual innovation award goes to a housebuilder that goes above and beyond their normal criteria for ranking sustainability innovation. The NextGeneration executive committee consists of the Homes England, Lloyds Bank, UKGBC and the initiative’s secretariat JLL.
The winner of the NextGeneration Innovation Award 2022 is Barratt Developments, for their net-zero carbon Zed House project.
